Who is Jobs Academy for?

Jobs Academy is open to women and gender diverse people who are ready to return to work and thrive.

We strongly encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, women living in rural, regional, and remote locations, women from culturally diverse backgrounds and women living with a disability.

Thanks to government funding, Jobs Academy is completely free for participants. It’s a virtual program so you can participate from anywhere and at any time.

Our February program intake

In this intake, Jobs Academy is funded by the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet's Office for Women and the Queensland Government to support women and gender diverse people who are aged 40+ and looking to return to work.

We are also looking for applications for a dedicated, smaller program intake funded by the Department of Veterans' Affairs. Participants in this intake must be aged 18+ and have previously served in or are transitioning from the Australian Defence Force, or have a partner who has previously served in or is transitioning from the Australian Defence Force.

Does the above not sound like you? You can register your interest for future intakes.

How does the application process work?

Your application will be considered for any intake that you’re suitable for. Simply submit your application and we’ll take care of the rest.

In your application, we'll ask some questions about you, your career goals and why you want to join the program.

Nearly all questions are multiple-choice and don't require you to rush around finding any paperwork.

The whole process won't take longer than 10 minutes.
