3. Are over the age of 18

If you aren't eligible for this cohort, please fill out the first part of the application form to register your interest. We'll contact you when our 2027 applications open.

Applying for Jobs Academy is a straightforward process.

All you need to do is complete the application form where we'll ask some questions about you, your career goals and why you want to join the program.

The application form takes less than 10 minutes to complete and after you hit the 'submit' button - you've officially applied for Jobs Academy! It's that simple.

Jobs Academy is completely free with no cost to participants, thanks to government funding.

We've designed Jobs Academy to work within your schedule so everything is online, flexible and self-paced.

A Jobs Academy membership offers 12 months of access, but you may not need to commit a full year to the program.

Throughout your 12-month membership, you can engage as little or as much as you like with the courses, coaching and resources that suit your goals.

We encourage Jobs Academy participants to allocate 1-2 hours to the program each week. Some weeks may require more, and others less.

Jobs Academy is fully virtual and open to women across Australia, including those living in regional, rural and remote areas.

It’s our goal to help you develop the confidence, capabilities and connections to forge ahead with your career - regardless of where you’re located.

You gain access to the curated Jobs Academy program, designed to give you clarity around your career goals and the confidence to move forward.

You can lean on the resources that are relevant to you, at a time that suits your schedule. Along the way, you'll also hear from employers, receive advice from experts, and be connected with hundreds of other women and gender diverse people.

As a Jobs Academy member, you will have access to:

• Your Dashboard which includes important announcements, a calendar of upcoming events and a digital library of written, video and podcast resources, to support your return-to-work journey.
• A library of self-guided courses that will help you articulate your skills and strengths, update or create a resume, navigate an evolving job market, and much more.
• Mentoring and coaching delivered through group coaching webinars, small group workshops and one-on-one sessions. These are hosted by experienced professionals who will help you boost your confidence and clarity.
• Jobs and Skills Fairs that connect members with employers, training organisations and pathway programs in a live environment.
• Community and networking via our vibrant and supportive Facebook Community, plus a virtual ticket to the annual FW Leadership Summit, held each year in March.

Jobs Academy is designed to help you find a job and build a secure, rewarding career.

The application survey helps us identify who will benefit most from Jobs Academy and provides a benchmark against which to measure the impact of the program.

Jobs Academy proudly partners with employers that offer flexible work and supportive environments. You'll have the opportunity to meet them through our virtual Jobs and Skills Fairs, where jobs, training and returnship programs will be advertised.

No, Jobs Academy is designed to support women who face barriers to employment. This means we welcome participants who are unemployed, underemployed, in unsecure casual employment or who need to make a change.

Searching for work can be challenging and emotional, as well as exciting. Transitioning back to work is also overwhelming for many women, especially after a prolonged career break.

If you're struggling and require professional support, our team can connect you with external support services, run by experienced mental health professionals.

Jobs Academy will include a year-long series of self-guided courses, virtual mentoring sessions and online events. Our sessions cover a whole host of topics designed to be relevant to any industry.

We'll cover important topics like identifying your passions and values, making a career plan, creating your resume and cover letter, preparing for an interview, negotiating for flexible work and a whole lot more.

As Jobs Academy is a virtual program, you will need to have access to the internet as well as a computer, tablet or mobile device.

Local libraries and community centres often have computers available for public use.
