Volunteer with Vinnies
December 3rd, 2025 by Eddie BiggsThe St Vincent de Paul Society (Vinnies) is committed to serving people through a range of community initiatives. They’re always on the lookout for volunteers, who perform tasks such as:
- Working in a Vinnies shop, depot or support centre
- Helping with day-to-day admin
- Tutoring refugee families.
Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community whilst learning new skills and making connections. Vinnies have a range of volunteering opportunities to suit all commitment levels from weekly, monthly, quarterly or ad-hoc volunteering.
Vinnie’s website has more information about volunteer opportunities, which are available Australia-wide.
NB: Vinnies is a Catholic lay organisation. They welcome people of all backgrounds and beliefs who support their mission to help people who are disadvantaged and living in poverty. You do not need to be Catholic to volunteer.
