No, you don’t have to be unemployed to apply.

We developed Jobs Academy to address the challenges women face in the workplace – including the fact that women are often underemployed, holding multiple part time positions, or facing difficult decisions in considering full time work, like the cost of child care.

If you’re unemployed, underemployed, or employed and wanting to make a career change – then Jobs Academy is for you.

Applying for Jobs Academy is a straightforward two-step process. First, you register your interest above – it’ll take you less than five minutes to complete this step.

When the next intake opens, an application will be sent to you. It’s a survey of questions designed to tell us about you, your employment history and your career goals.

The survey takes less than 15 minutes to complete and after you hit the ‘submit’ button – you’ve officially applied for Jobs Academy! It’s that simple.

With the support of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet’s Office for Women, we’re able to offer 140 places in the pilot of Jobs Academy at no cost to participants.

We’re actively working on opening up Jobs Academy to thousands more women in the future, which is why it’s vital that you register your interest if you’d like to take part.

Yes, you can. If Jobs Academy sounds like it could be useful to you, then we’d really like to hear from you.
