MobTech is Westpac’s Tech Cadetship designed for First Nations people looking to kickstart or further their career in technology. They’re currently recruiting for Identified full-time roles based in Sydney in a hybrid working environment.

What’s a tech cadetship and what’s in it for you?

As a Tech Cadet at Westpac, you’ll receive 10-18 weeks of training in Data Analytics or IT Support. During this time you’ll be supported by instructors and a dedicated First Nations mentor. There are also regular check-ins with other cadets and leaders to help you build your skills and network.

Disability Support Worker Pre-Employment Program

Do you have a passion for making a difference?

Generation Australia is an organisation working to close the skills gap in Australia through accelerated and accessible training programs. They’re currently recruiting for the next round of their free Disability Support Worker (DSW) Program.

The program runs for 5 weeks and will equip you with all the technical and personal care skills needed for a support worker role. Following the program, Generation Australia will support you with job applications, supply industry insights and connect you with employers.

What’s included in the program?

Generation Australia are particularly interested in applicants from NSW, Gippsland and Inner Melbourne.

Commonwealth Bank’s Career Comeback is now open for applications. It’s their 12-week program designed to support talented professionals re-entering the workforce. They’re currently hiring across their Financial Crime, Financial Services and Risk teams and successful applicants will be offered a permanent role going into the program.

You’ll receive personalised support like dedicated coaching and mentoring, confidence building and professional development workshops and ongoing guidance from a dedicated program manager. Read more about the program in this flyer.

Available opportunities are based out of their Sydney office and flexible working arrangements are available. Most roles are available as part-time or full-time arrangements and employees can take up a hybrid working model.
